Meet Karen Pingal
Co-Founder and CEO
Mieyva Healthcare was founded by Michael and Karen Pingal. Karen was born and raised in Georgetown Guyana before migrating to Canada with her family. While Karen worked in various frontline, policy and leadership capacities as a Registered Nurse in Canada, her heart remained stedfast in helping her community in Guyana.
Karen has first hand experience of the challenges endured by individuals seeking to support their family members while living abroad - the lack of comprehensive, compassionate and dignified care for her grandparents was the catalyst for her and Michael establishing Mieyva Healthcare.
